Dear Colleagues:
I write to remind you that the application submission deadline for the Research Allowance Program (RAP) is Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., PST. As per the January 29, 2025 Council on Research (COR) announcement, Academic Senate members may apply for up to $5,000 in research funds.
The Research Allowance Program provides financial support for research-related activities of Senate faculty at UCLA. The maximum request amount per faculty member is $5,000 per funding cycle (fiscal year). Only applicants whose total research support does not exceed $100,000 for the 2025–2026 academic year may apply. The COR will determine the amount and the number of grants funded depending on available resources.
To apply, review the program guidelines and application on the COR Faculty Grants Program web page which includes details about expenditure dates and other restrictions.
We welcome you to submit a RAP application by the February 26, 2025, deadline, and wish you continued success with your research endeavors.
