Dear Colleagues:

I write to remind you that the application submission deadline for the Fall 2025 Research Allowance Program (RAP) cycle is Monday, December 15, 2025, at 5:00 pm, PST . As the UCLA Academic Senate’s Council on Research announced on November 19, 2025, Academic Senate faculty who have not been awarded a 2025-26 RAP grant are eligible to apply for up to $5,000 in research funds.

The Research Allowance Program provides financial support for research-related activities of Senate faculty at UCLA. The maximum request amount per faculty member is $5,000 per funding cycle (fiscal year). The COR will determine the amount and the number of grants funded depending on available resources.

To apply, review the program guidelines and application on the COR Faculty Grants Program web page which includes details about expenditure dates and other restrictions.

We welcome you to submit a RAP application by the December 15, 2025 , deadline, and wish you continued success with your research endeavors.
