Dear Colleagues:

The Undergraduate and Graduate Councils have adopted a set of AI Principles to help faculty consider the impact of artificial intelligence on teaching and instruction. The Principles were developed with broad input from Academic Senate committees and councils, as well as College and School Faculty Executive Committees. We hope that they will serve to guide ongoing conversations and decision-making around this transformative technology and its broader implications for our academic mission.
