I write to remind you that the deadline to submit nominations for the inaugural Distinguished Academic Senate Service Award is March 23, 2026. As the UCLA Academic Senate previously announced, this award is available to Senate Faculty who have demonstrated a commitment to the principles of shared governance and exemplary Academic Senate Service. The award honors meaningful and consequential Senate service that promotes and strengthens shared governance at UCLA.
Additional information and selection criteria are available on the Academic Senate website. Late or incomplete nominations will not be accepted.
