I invite you to submit nominations for the inaugural Distinguished Academic Senate Service Award, available to Senate Faculty who have demonstrated a commitment to the principles of shared governance and exemplary Academic Senate Service. The award honors meaningful and consequential Senate service that promotes and strengthens shared governance at UCLA.
The UCLA Academic Senate welcomes nominations from senate faculty for the Distinguished Senate Service Award. The nomination period is now open and will close on March 23, 2026.
Additional information and selection criteria are available on the Academic Senate Award Opportunities page. Late or incomplete nominations will not be accepted.
