To: Members of the Los Angeles Division of the Academic Senate
Dear Colleagues:
The third meeting of the 2024-2025 Legislative Assembly will take place in person on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. in the Bruin Reception Room, on the 2nd floor of Ackerman Union. The agenda is available now on the Legislative Assembly Agenda page.
Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Darnell Hunt will join via Zoom to offer remarks and updates. Members will vote on a proposal to discontinue a degree program and bylaw amendments proposed by various schools and departments. Immediate Past Chair Andrea Kasko will present an analysis on graduate education funding.
Although each department and School has formal voting representation to the Assembly, all members of the Academic Senate are welcome to attend. In the spirit of shared governance, I encourage you to do so.
To ensure the integrity and security of the meeting, it is important for all attendees to RSVP via the Google Form.
