Dear Colleagues:
I invite you to submit nominations for the 2024–2025 UCLA Academic Senate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Awards for Senate and Non-Senate Faculty, which the Senate established thirty years ago. The award areas are: Career Commitment to Diversity, Research on Diversity, Student Development, and Community Service and Praxis.
Please give this invitation careful consideration and consult broadly to identify the most qualified and deserving nominees. We welcome nominations for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Awards from any member of the UCLA Academic Senate.
Awards are designated for Senate and Non-Senate Faculty who have shown exceptional commitment to work in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The nomination period will run from Monday, March 10, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. to Friday, April 4, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
