Divisional Policy issued in September 2012 by the joint Senate-Administration Task Force on Academic Freedom

This systemwide Academic Personnel Policy on Academic Freedom includes "Statement of Principles: Student Freedom of Scholarly Inquiry" (App. B)

The Faculty Code of Conduct addresses both academic freedom as a professional right of faculty and faculty responsibility to respect the academic freedom of others.

Issued by "UCLA Student Organizations, Leadership and Engagement," this brochure explains the authority of UCLA "to regulate the use of its property and in so doing limit First Amendment rights."

The UCLA Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Office issued this primer with a request for campus members to engage with their office to discuss issues of free speech. The EDI Office welcomes comments and questions to WeListen@equity.ucla.edu.
