I write to invite you to vote for the next Vice Chair of the Academic Senate, constituency members of the Committee on Committees, and at-large members of the Executive Board.

Voting opens today at 12:00 p.m. and continues until April 28, 2026, 12:00 p.m. PDT via the Academic Senate Data Management System (DMS). 

The elected officers represent the UCLA Senate faculty to the campus administration and throughout the University of California. For more information, visit Senate Elections. 

Voting is important, quick, and easy. Use your UCLA logon on the Academic Senate DMS. Then review the candidate descriptions and cast your ballot. Again, the voting period runs from April 14, 2026, 12:00 p.m. until April 28, 2026, 12:00 p.m. PDT.

I take this opportunity to encourage you to volunteer for service on one of the Academic Senate’s standing committees or for systemwide opportunities. As you know, the University encourages all Academic Senate faculty to participate in shared governance.
