Dear Colleagues,

We invite UCLA Senate Faculty to attend a Conversation on Support for Federal and State Research Funding on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Senate Faculty will have an opportunity to be in dialogue with Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Darnell Hunt, Vice Chancellor for Research and Creative Activities Roger Wakimoto, Assistant Vice Chancellor of Government and Community Relations Jennifer Poulakidas, and Executive Director of Government Relations for UCLA Health Mike Altschule. Academic Senate Chair Megan McEvoy will moderate the discussion. The format is a live Zoom meeting where Senate Faculty will ask questions directly; it is not a webinar.

It is required to register in advance in order to receive the Zoom link for this meeting. Please RSVP by noon on Thursday, February 26.
